The Fellowship of Word and Spirit organizes conferences of two types: 1. Larger Conferences with a particular theme of relevance for a contemporary biblical and reformed theology, at which speaker(s) of international standing are invited to make the main contribution. Past examples include a conference on Worship, with Wayne Grudem and David Peterson. Our next larger conference is is 2008, with Richard Pratt and Wallace Benn, looking at the Kingdom of God 2. Smaller Conferences which are held regionally, with a limited number of places. These take a 'fellowship' approach, with speakers invited to contribute a paper, which is then given time for theological interaction with all those attending. The goal is that these conferences really ‘confer’! Past topics include areas such as ecclesiology, eternal punishment, the doctrine of grace, or the atonement. The next smaller conference will be in 2009.
